New Orleans RV Resort & Marina FAQ

We are located at 6001 France Rd, New Orleans, LA 70126. Our park is conveniently located just 12 minutes outside of the French Quarter. New Orleans RV Resort & Marina is close to major highways, making us easy to reach from I-10 and the US 90/Chef Highway.

Our park is an easy drive to local attractions including the historic French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Harrah’s New Orleans Casino, Tulane University, The National WWII Museum, the Audubon Zoo, and much more. Our park is also the perfect place to stay during iconic New Orleans festivals like Mardi Gras, The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Essence Festival, and French Quarter Festival.

We provide RV sites with full hook-ups (30 & 50 amp), big rig friendly sites, waterfront sites, villa and floating villas, tiny home rentals, and RV rentals.

All our sites are level and a short walk to our amenities.

We have offer RV and boat storage spaces and boat slips. Please inquire with the office for more details.

Our gated community features a resort style swimming pool, game room, laundry facilities, dog park, a playground, boat launch, a camp store, fitness center, propane sales, onsite bar and restaurant and enhanced Wi-Fi (available for purchase).

We provide a full set of activities which include holiday parties, corn hole tournaments, pool parties and much more.

Pets are welcome with restrictions. Exotic animals such as birds, snakes, pigs, ponies, or wild animals are not allowed. The following restricted dog breeds or mixes are also not permitted: Akitas, Doberman Pinschers, Staffordshire Terriers, Huskies, Rottweilers, Chows, Presa Canarios, German Shepherds, Bulldog breeds (including Pitbulls, excluding French Bulldogs), Boerboels, Cane Corsos, Wolf-hybrids, Great Danes, Malamutes, and Bullmastiffs. Any animal showing aggression will not be permitted.

Yes. Proof of rabies vaccination must be presented at check-in. Guests may also submit documentation via email at reserve@neworleansrvresort.com in advance.

Check-in begins at 12:00 PM. Check-out is at 11:00 AM.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily.

We are an inclusive, non-denominational, family-friendly campground that welcomes daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal guests. Activity is especially high during the festival season.

We accept major credit and debit cards with a surcharge of 2.75%. Contact the office at 504-286-8157 or email mgr@neworleansrvresort.com for other options.

1. Daily Reservations: Full payment is required at the time of booking.

• Cancellations made at least 14 days before the reservation start date will incur a $35 cancellation fee, with the remainder refunded
• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date will result in the forfeiture of the payment

2. Weekly Reservations: Full payment is required at the time of booking.

• Cancellations made at least 30 days before the reservation start date will incur a $95 cancellation fee, with the remainder refunded.
• Cancellations made less than 30 days before the start date will result in the forfeiture of the payment.

3. Monthly Reservations:The first month’s payment is required in full as a deposit at the time of booking.

• Cancellations made at least 60 days before the reservation start date will incur a $295 cancellation fee, with the remainder refunded.
• Cancellations made less than 60 days before the start date will result in the forfeiture of the full first month’s payment.

4. Holiday Reservations: A minimum stay of 3-nights is required on, but not limited to, the following holiday weekends and events: New Years/New Year’s Eve, Easter, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas, All Carnival Weekends, Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Cinco De Mayo, Kentucky Derby, French Quarter Fest, Jazz Fest, Bayou Boogaloo, and Essence Festival.

• Cancellations are non-refundable and non-transferable

5. No Refunds for Early Departures: Refunds will not be issued for early departures under any circumstances.

6. Trip Protection: is an additional 10% of the total reservation cost. Provides refund up until the day of arrival in the event of a cancellation.

No campfires are allowed within the Park except for the Presidential Sites which have secure fire pits. Charcoal or propane grills with screens may be used for cooking.

Yes, golf carts must be registered with the office and only be operated by those 16 years of age or older and with a valid driver’s license. Golf cart headlights must be on after dark.

Alcohol is allowed at your campsite and in the restaurant area only. Guests are expected to drink responsibly and follow park policies.

Yes, Wi-Fi is available for an additional fee. Coverage and speed may vary depending on location.

No, however, guests may have Spectrum installed personally at their sites.

Yes, New Orleans RV Resort & Marina is an ideal destination for rallies, reunions, and group gatherings. We welcome clubs, groups, and organizations of all sizes to host events here.
